Since 2018, ICC has been working with a broad coalition of organisations representing business, unions, consumers, academics and civil society to promote best in class trade governance and strategy to ensure trade works for everyone, across all corners of the UK. This work encompasses two central frameworks; A Trade Model That Works For Everyone, Trade for All Framework. The former sets out the 4 core pillars of an inclusive trade governance model, the latter 9 key objectives we would like to see in a strategic framework for UK trade.
'A Trade Governance Model That Works for Everyone’ acts as a practical framework for national and international policy makers to guide best practice and help governments deliver on global commitments. The framework aims to ensure trade policy is more inclusive, transparent, and democratic and benefits all stakeholders.
