G20 Japan
The G20 programme is designed to be inclusive and open to all UK companies, not just members. Our primary objective is to strengthen the UK business voice and provide a platform for UK companies to engage with government and G20 stakeholders to help coordinate and align activities. If companies want to join ICC that is great but it isn’t a pre-requisite to accessing the programme. This approach helps us work more closely with the government.
G20: A Voice for UK Business
Each year we have a G20 publication (download here) which gets sent to 130 countries – embassies, trade teams, business contacts, G20 stakeholders and ICC offices. When the time comes, we will be in touch to work with you on content. It’s a good vehicle to profile the BCCJ and trade priorities.
G20 Japan will be short and quite different in terms of business engagement. We will need to be well organised with a view on both Japan and Saudi Arabia in 2020.
