Arbitration Masterclass – Construction Disputes | 17 July 2024

Disputes arising from construction/ engineering and energy traditionally generate the largest number of ICC court cases, together accounting for approximately 45% a year. The ICC United Kingdom is holding two masterclasses in 2024 with a focus on each of these key areas – one on construction in July and one on energy in November.

Construction disputes are arguably the most complex and high-value type of disputes resolved through arbitration and ADR. In this masterclass, general counsels of major construction companies will discuss the client perspective on present and future trends of construction disputes. Panellists will consider what works well and what could be improved giving invaluable insight into how arbitrators can assist their clients.
