Roundtable: Tackling Illicit Trade Through Public-Private Partnership

Illicit trade is an evolving cross-sector challenge, affecting businesses, consumers, governments and legitimate global trade. Criminal networks are increasingly exploiting global supply chains, e-commerce, digital marketplaces and cross-border trade, while emerging risks such as sanctions evasion, organised crime and new technologies add further complexity.

This ICC United Kingdom roundtable will bring together senior representatives from business, government, enforcement authorities and international organisations to examine the changing illicit trade landscape and share perspectives on the challenges facing different sectors.

The discussion will focus on strengthening public-private collaboration, including intelligence and data sharing, supply chain transparency, risk-based enforcement, digital technologies and greater cooperation between UK and EU authorities. The roundtable will provide an opportunity to identify practical solutions, share examples of effective partnerships and consider how business and policymakers can work together to strengthen prevention, disruption and enforcement.
